why shouldn't I use my cohost for something like this, as if my friends don't have to hear about my music enough.
I stumbled upon zeal and ardor's first album (devil is fine) shortly after it's release, though I frankly don't remember how. whoever or whatever recommended them to me, thank you. their music literally only gets better with each release. firewake is a new single that was just released last month and it blew my tits clean off. truly one of the most interesting and creative groups in metal at this moments, at least that I've come across.
worth listening to even if you don't typically enjoy metal because they are so unique and, in many ways, not metal at all. their first album was a fusion of black metal and African American slave spirituals and they've evolved from there in very interesting ways. damn. what a good band
