affectionately naming this poor neglected platinum vicoh I bought off eBay for thirty bucks "Chunks" because that's what came out of it for three days straight as I tried to clean it into useable condition. highly suspect an iron gall ink dried in there, probably platinum blue black, because the chunks were completely insoluble. zoom in on picture 3 for an example of the chunks that were still coming out of the pen on day 3 of cleaning

works great now though! I bought it for the cheap price and the interesting oddity of a broad nib on a model line that was rarely available in broad, and sure hasn't been for years at this point. I paid for it in the extensive, entire long weekend of cleaning it needed but the nibs in great shape and it writes like a dream now
