here are all the lil buny doodles i did on my map screens while streaming Phantom Hourglass (one for each island, plus two extras)

i think there are lots of good reasons why more games should let you write notes directly on your map - it's genuinely a really cool and handy feature - but mainly i just want to draw rabbits in the margins

I really wish Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom let me write directly on the map!! I want to do cartography

yessss YEEEESSSS the cartography was by far my favourite part of the DS Zeldas! Though I felt it was kinda under-utilized in Spirit Tracks maybe.

I liked it so much that it motivated to try to play the NES Zelda again but this time drawing my own map, and for the first time I actually enjoyed the NES Zelda.

One of these days, when I have time and my gaming backlog isn't so big, I wanna go back to BoTW and instead of resorting to the in-game map I'll draw my own on paper.

But I still haven't even opened ToTK... ;v;
