I've been absolutely sick of social media for years now, I'll put up with twitter and lurk on it the memes, the cool art, the... yeah that's about it. but never felt comfortable putting myself out there - like a huge discord server it just feels too big for comfort when it comes to posting on any of them really and has never led to anything fulfilling (as someone who doesn't rely on visibility for income).
in recent years I've caught myself thinking "hmm I wish there was a nicer site, with a smaller and more cohesive community, and fewer numbers being thrown in your face, that basically seems to consist entirely of cool as fuck trans people with an insane depth of knowledge on insanely niche interests, and also jeff gerstmann for some reason"
so anyway I'll probably be sticking around
