I found Twitch's content guidelines to be rather confusing. Any advice on how to judge what they are comfortable with? (I don't use that site so I'm not familiar)
It can be tricky, but it depends on the kind of content. If it's sexual, then discussions on sexuality are fine but graphic sexual imagery is not. After the recent nonsense that happened they opened up then immediately clamped down on nudity again because the system was abused. There's a whole page of what isn't allowed and it's real confusing. But in the end it's easier to err on the side of caution.
So no nudity, no sex acts (by a very cisheteronormative definition of sex), and no in-depth discussions of sex acts.
But in the end I talk a lot about sexuality & gender stuff when I stream & haven't had a problem. I'm just not going to stream Hardcoded or something and risk it, haha

Caution makes sense to me, so I will keep that in mind. The game I was thinking of submitting has allusions to off-screen bdsm and a brief scene of partial undressing
References to bdsm & partial undressing is probably okay. There's plenty of games out there that I've seen streamed without issue that have some level of nudity. As long as that's not the focus it should probably be fine
