It's an overflow error. That's not so much a bug as a limitation of the technology.

Why doesn't Tengen Tetris have that limitation? Tell me how Atari overcame this limitation. I wish to know. (I am being faceitious here. You are wrong. a Human did put that bug there by building a thing with that bug and not building something that didn't have that bug.)
