last.fm being mentioned in my tl has made me consider using my old account again - truly, one of my few remaining actual online pre-transition (ie. pre-2013) relics of me. almost everything else I decided to delete as, much like with my operating systems, I'm quite the "fresh start" type and like to wipe it all, remove any trail and start fresh. I used it for a few years after though, mostly as a quick sign-in-and-forget-about-it deal on Spotify, which I used a few years ago. I listened to a lot of music outside of that though, which is why the numbers of scrobbles dwindled - my music listening certainly never has.
I might start it up for novelty reasons, but I have some cleanup to do: there's good few comments left by friends and passers by dropping my necronym in the comments, and slightly less jarringly, a swathe of "hey dude!" "yo man what's up!!" type stuff.
but funniest of all is that early on in my audioscrobbler life, for that is what it was called then, I listened to all of the Harry Potter audiobooks, so I literally have J. K. Rowling as one of my most listened to artists lmao
