With lots of thanks (again) to https://cohost.org/Tetra/post/34479-div-style-backgrou whose script i modified to help me, and to https://cohost.org/a2aaron/post/77004-a which made some things a lot easier, and everyone whose posts i've seen and been inspired by! part of this text comes from an old twitter post that i'd been meaning to adapt in some way for cohost... i didn't expect the current circumstances that would make me want to force myself to finally do it and that'd make me want to modify and add to it... i truly do love what cohost allows us to do and therefore express here

thank you too and all of @staff for creating this place!!

I have to imagine giving us the ability to use CSS+HTML must've come with a lot of concerns and headaches while figuring out a reasonable way to do that, and i'm immensely grateful that you did figure it out. I love how it lets people express in all kinds of ways and symbolisms, whether they'd be little, maybe even invisible details, or big projects, it made of cohost such a unique and fun social media, and the only one where certain ideas and the feelings they carry could really come alive
