I feel like romantic love is a primary driver for me and my life. I know that sounds pretty normal on paper and there's lots more to what motivates me, but it's something that has always pushed me to go for something like nothing else really does or can.
Even since I was a teenager, getting regular flights to another country at 17 because I got into a long-distance relationship over a message board even during school weeks, it's clear to see how much I was driven by it.
It feels like a core source of my creative processes and inspirations too, and something I'd like to keep using. I don't wanna make mushy love songs or anything, but keep exploring love as an abstraction - in the various ways i experience it - as a throughline for future games. I guess The Heart of Arel already is something like that really - the only thing that got me to take on a (relatively) big project for myself is something where I had a huge amount of inspiration, and there's little else that inspires me more than love.
