dear god. Truly a clear by the skin of our teeth - we did just well enough to never need a healer LB3, but that also meant I was alive for the whole fight and holy shit, the second half of this fight stacks on damage like mad. Topping it off is two partywide AoEs with bleed effects right before the enrage cast, which meant my cohealer and I abandoned hope for our own DPS and focused on keeping the actual DPS alive to push for the kill. But hell yeah we got it 😤
It's pretty nice peace of mind to have finished reclears and get a new clear out of the way on our first night of the week. Our next two raid nights will be entirely on P8S now, which I've yet to study but I'm very excited to learn it and finish the tier!
Given the circumstances, we all agreed on needing a group picture. My shot came out pretty badly - this one is by Toon, our Red Mage (the red Viera 
). I haven't progged a Savage tier with a RDM in a while, so I'm not entirely used to the utility that Verraise provides. Thankfully, Toon is!! She's an incredible help for getting people up in situations where neither myself nor my cohealer can do it. It's a big help, especially with how the tier bashes on my MP right now.
I also won a piece of gear this week! I'll probably make a different post about that later. 
Our P6S clear for the week had an extra head piece drop, so I volunteered to take it for my Sage even though I don't need it for my best-in-slot loadout. Say hello to the Abyssos Helm of Healing and YEAAAAAAH BUDDY look at those particle effects!! This shit's constantly spitting out flames! I can't turn it off!

Because I need some goddang MP, that's why!! Optimal job builds are usually speccing for DPS, so my starting gear set was very low in piety and my optimal end-of-tier build is also low in piety, since it's a stat purely for healer MP regeneration. Sticking with that design choice has really been messing with my MP as we get into learning the back half of Abyssos, so I decided it was worth the upgrade here. I can't do any DPS (or "heal") if I can't cast spells, y'know?
As you can see, this one helm piece is nearly contributing like a quarter of my MP regen stat now, LMAO 😬 Very big jump! I don't think I'll really know the effectiveness until we meet for reclears on Wednesday (shoutouts to p7s 
), but on paper it's an improvement over my old head piece just because of the item level increase, so I think it'll work out.
I still think grabbing this piece was worth it even if it doesn't work out, TBH. I am now extremely visible in the event of mechanics happening 👍
