Joy's Haehyun is a beast and we've had a fair number of FT7s this year, but tonight is the first time i won one of them 
fairly handily tonight, too. very glad I managed to not get into my own head, which is a frequent problem when i get close to a goal (esp. this one). tbh, i was very not worried because i thought this match win was 6-4 - i was taking a moment and didn't realize it was over until Joy returned to lobby.1
word on stream comms is that Joy is susceptible to "just waiting a bit" so i tried to hold a little more patience in the game. i think the biggest outcome of this was to jump IB the divekick more often instead of trying to push a button against it? jump-blocking makes for a fairly good throw punish. also some fd-braked shinkens that could get punished with a f.s 5H. i actually did a super-far f.s 5H roll RRC dash f.s 2H air combo kinda combo at one point, too. fucked up

laying in bed thinking about facing joy and treble (Sin player) in the 2v2 earlier tonight, and i told TBK "I'm not too sure in the haehyun matchup" and then lost to Treble but what the FUCK was i on
i can definitely take joy in a ft1. smh smh next time
