Friend went in to be able to get stimulants for their ADHD. The doctor agreed and went to prescribe them after their insistence. Only that... Then their insurance chimed in and said
we dont cover stimulants
So now they're giving them Clonidine. A drug thats for lowering blood pressure and heart rate of hypertensives. Why do we let insurance make the medical calls? This is insane.
