Watched Robocop and Thief at the local theatre these last couple weeks. Two grim and relevant films that absolutely rock on the big screen for different reasons.
Robocop is just fun as hell with an audience. Thief’s visuals and score undefeated. I wish I could go back in time and watch classic movies in analog film, not off a dusty ps3 while sitting in one of those fat cheapo recliners. Man they really just throw a blu ray in the projector and let it rip hhuh. Kinda takes a lot of the mystique out of going out to the movies, but there is just something about seeing it with an audience.
I did catch barboppen heim which were both - alright. Felt like mandatory film appreciation month as theaters die a long drawn out death. Good times. End times?
