honestly we think people will find fault with any slogan or word that gets sufficiently widespread attention. it's a perfectly good word. sometimes being deliberately silly gets traction.
Sure but I'm trying to extend an olive branch here. I understand how people can get predisposed to not like an idea because they think the name is bad or it's expressed in the wrong language. I could rewrite Cory Doctorow's original essay in the language of socialist critique and the same people dumping on it would think it was unambiguous genius. So with the name.
