It's a shame that their window of color is so brief. I drove by the trees that dropped these two days before I took this picture and they were still all on the trees.
Yes, I think once a tree starts losing leaves it is about a week when a bulk of them falls, for the majority of trees. It is only different timing for different trees that allow the beauty of autumn to continue for almost a month. Yet, I am grateful even for this time.
