Lyman Run State Park is one of Pennsylvania's hidden gems. It's right down the road from Cherry Springs State Park which is a designated dark sky park. It's a great place for stargazing, camping and hiking.
The Belt of Venus or anti-twilight arch is an atmospheric phenomena caused by the backscattering of sunlight off Earth's atmosphere. It causes that lovely color gradient you see opposite to the setting or rising sun if conditions are right.
