I’ve spent the last week house sitting back home while my parents are traveling. Over the last few years a fox family has taken up residence in the neighborhood. I’ve been trying all week to get photos of them and this is the best I’ve got. During the day they tend to hide but during the night they don’t give a fuck and just keep their distance. A young one even followed me down the street while I was walking my dog. I think next time I’m home I’ll build an infrared flash set up and stake out with my telephoto at night to try to get some photos with a high quality trail cam aesthetic.
Back home for a few days to house sit while my parents are traveling and already a lot of creature encounters. In addition to this garden visitor, I saw four foxes last night. One of them, a curious young pup, followed my dog and me dog the street for a bit. Hoping to get some nice shots of them before I leave.
