i would even argue that these often contradict each other - i'm not saying the For Everybody crowd is necessarily outright arguing for racists to have a platform here, but when you try to become a Big Default Website that's kind of inevitably what happens
as is so often the case, the best way to improve diversity in this space is to invite your minority friends and make sure to create a safe and welcoming environment for them
and if you don't have any minority friends, maybe that's a deeper issue to think about
