one caveat about writing userstyles for this site that I'm not a huge fan of is that I can't take advantage of all of the variables defined in the site's CSS—it might be extension dependent but Stylus flat out refuses to apply anything with a variable in it. hopefully this won't be too much of an issue but I'll probably bump into a situation where I have to hardcode something and then a color silently gets tweaked and oops everything looks janky now
