The last entry was the last of the postcard series.
Those months in 2021 are something I won't soon forget. We were happy that the covid restrictions had lifted when we had started, since we could go out and eat. The weather was absolutely absurd, with few days being below 30℃ / 86℉. British Columbia had raging forest fires that made the hot air even worse with smoke. I don't recall any rain the entire time.
Walking around the small towns, I really felt invisible. No one was out and about, due to the heat mostly. It certainly made for a surreal experience only rivaled by the time I was in Jasper in December 2020 during lockdown and was the only person walking around the normally very busy town.
The name came from The Wood Brothers - Postcards From Hell. The hell wasn't really the small towns themselves, but rather the isolation and loneliness. It fucked me up pretty good, I don't know that I have recovered yet.
Anyway, I actually made postcards for some fool reason.
