I thought I would feel more interested in the Persona 3 & 4 ports, but honestly all I can think about is Atlus’ consistent homophobia and transphobia. It’s present in both games (moreso 4) and still exists in P5 and Catherine (it’s SOOOO bad in Catherine oh my lord).
These games were big for me back in high school, but honestly I have trouble stomaching their stories now. Catherine I can still enjoy the gameplay of, but otherwise - idk. I’m not sure I can justify play hundreds of hours of a game made by people who think my friends and I are something to be laughed at 🤷🏻♀️
