thanks, but it worked out pretty well, actually. i was out for the day and then i came home and played BotW on my fully charged Switch in the dark until i got sleepy. fsr i woke up literally two minutes before power came back at 5:30 a.m. (an hour later than the official estimate). most painless outage i've experienced.
it was useful to see just how much light pollution my PC, devices, etc. bring to my sleeping space, too. it was so dark in here! it was nice.
