I started using obsidian for note taking and was explaining how zettelkasten notetaking works. Their response was, "Oh is it using AI?" and in that moment I just felt such disdain for AI more than I ever had.
I already feel that AI is largely silicon valley language used to raise stock prices and also a series of processes that steal from lower class creators. However, it's even more worrisome to me that now any type of software that has a complex design will be attributed to AI as it erases and homogenizes any nuance into this magical black box that is AI.
what is an effective medium for taking notes? Like, what app do you use? What types of notebooks or pens do you use??
I keep trying to make observatory notes in different apps and notebooks but I don't tend to come back because I'm not happy with the media I'm using. I need notetaking to be nice!
