My hobbies are all excuses to collect pretty colors. I enjoy knitting, sewing, running, trombone-ing, gardening, & sci-fi short stories. Coding when necessitated and occasionally for fun. Microbiology for fun & (non-)profit.

I turned the rest of my Robert Kaufman Durango Flannel (Plaid Adventure colorway) into a pair of reversible pajama pants!

I used Glad Press n Seal wrap to copy my favorite pair of pajama pants: the flannel ones from Victoria's Secret. My mom gave me three pairs of them for Christmas in the early 2000s and I've worn them constantly since. They're starting to wear out, and while I'll repair them as I can, it's nice to know I can recreate them, too.

The Glad Press n Seal method of copying a garment is so handy: stick the wrap to the fabric, trace the seam lines, darts, etc, on the wrap with a sharpie, then take the wrap and put it on paper. Cut the paper at the seam lines, open the darts, and then put the combo on the final pattern paper. Trace once more, add seam lines, and bob's your uncle.
