...of the weight of a 10+ years-old downloads folder!
Was having some X11->Wayland issues after upgrading-in-place to Fedora 401, so I made sure my /home was fully backed up and flattened the entire harddrive to do a fresh install.2
Now I get to pick and choose what gets put back in place. Feels so nice. (Except Firefox, that doesn't feel nice, I need to get my userchrome.css off that external drive asap.)
- I've been doing that since Fedora 23 and enough cruft has built up to be annoying.
- I usually have /home on a separate partition, but I got frustrated enough to not want to deal with Fedora's terrible installer and let it take the whole thing.
