On Tuesday, after 3hrs of post-storm sleep, I felt so awful that I told my boss I was taking Friday & Monday off, those being the first days that did not have something that would be far more likely to go wrong if I wasn't there. I slept well the rest of the week and have recovered, and was thinking of heading in anyway. Instead, Jay encouraged me to stay home since I've got the leave and the last month had been spent taking time off for medical appointments or HVAC issues, so why not some me time?
I have the windows open and am listening to the birds sing and it is a very good relaxing soundtrack. This was the right choice this morning.
