And then of course there's the rule that you can't have pepper spray if you've ever been hospitalized for mental illness unless you get a signed letter from a mental health professional. Though I've never seen a local store check or ask when you buy it.

I'm glad others are taking our traditions, culture and history seriously. lotta the zoomers have me worried.
I'm fascinated by the American combination of banning various arbitrary sub-varieties of pocket knives while allowing carrying guns. (My state actually does not do that, you can have knives as well as guns!)

Knife laws in the USA are very weird considering the whole "wanna carry both a gun and a backup gun? No problem!" thing we have going here.
