Idk I think that "guy who know too much about the Atlanta Falcons or whatever" may not be autistic. I think there's a social construction of what you are supposed to know about and how much is acceptable to know about it. I think you will find there are many many allistic people who know a lot about things because it's normal to be interested in them and it gets them social clout.
