I think it is inevitable that reactionary thought is going to be more simplistic, easier to digest, and hyper-intuitive compared to a leftist analysis of literally anything. This is an absolutely doomed way of thinking. Comparing rightist tactics to leftist ones is like comparing apples to oranges and you are not going to succeed by just mimicking what they do, because they have completely different ends than yours. You are comparing a group of people who believe in nothing to a group of people who believe in something. You are comparing a group of people trying to figure out the best way to organize civilization to maximize everyone's happiness, to genocidal propagandists.
I seriously want to interrogate people like this and ask them what the fuck their plan is after they've hypothetically successfully co-opted tactics that are engineered to defeat and other a group of people and nothing else. I don't think even that will succeed, but what is the plan for afterwards? I don't like talking about drama or discourse but I bring this up because I see this "we need to copy the WINNER" mindset a disturbing amount and I absolutely hate it. I also think people drastically over-exaggerate how complicated our beliefs are, and undersell how popular support for marginalized communities actually is. This is a fight between the powerful few and the disenfranchised majority.
