The silliness is inevitable.

your local eldritch being and friends posting absolute nonsense... 2! i do art and i make writings about gay monsters and furries and gay monster furries. and a whole lotta worldbuilding. please ask me questions about my worldbuilding

assume that our posts come from me, kaelos, if unlabeled. posts made by the other members of the system will be labeled accordingly. most cryptic posts come from ephemeris. say hi :::)

really likin this place more than tumblr and masto. tumblr is corporate and im just waiting for its death at this point and for masto i never quite liked microblogging. i like giving endless amounts of details about things which macroblogging allows me to do. plus, more furries, nonhumans, and plurals in the wild. been feelin pretty comfortable here

We really like this place so far! It’s really nice to be somewhere where people aren’t listing discourse stances in their bios as if things like racism and hate speech were ever up for debate… and so many sites don’t do anything about racism and hate speech! and in response people signal that they’re safe (or unsafe)

Cohost feels more like a very well moderated forum board a decade ago than like the (“centrist”) “self-marketing” thing that so much of the internet has become. It’s refreshing :)

yeah it is Very refreshing to be on a site that actually listens to its userbase dhsjdjroejehs. a rarity these days. the mastodon instance i was on was fine in that regard, but i like the way that cohost is structured much better. that and this community seems much less prone to reactionary tendencies than mastodon or god forbid tumblr, but i suppose this is to be expected by a site created by furry communists who link to das kapital in their manifesto
