Teleglitch: Die More Edition.
It's a horror roguelike that absolutely nails the vibes and tension.
Not only does it pull off a glitch horror aesthetic (which is honestly one of my fave horror aesthetics) but the sound design is intensely disconcerting lol.
There's no music, all the mood in the game is just keeping an ear out for footsteps. Which means that machinery is loud enough to block that out, which makes looting a room near an engine tense~.
If I had to narrow things down, it kind of gives me the aesthetic of a top down Dead Space 1, but that feels a bit reductive.
Anyway. It's great, I'm bad at reviewing games. I just remembered it existed, and I wanted to share it here since I've seen a few recommendations among the horror community.
