I hesitate to actually use the term "rejection sensitive dysphoria" to describe myself (not out of disapproval of the term so much as wondering if it's even meaningful as a term for me) but boy am I dysphoriating some rejection sensitivity over trying to show anyone any of my ongoing work on Reverie

I've found, in general, unless you're super popular (like a microcelebrity) or it's exceedingly fucking awful (like. If you somehow managed to make the protagonist Racist McSlurrington, Chief Grinder-Upper Of Disabled Gay Babies), the only people who are going to bother interacting with your art are people who enjoy it! If anyone finds it boring or irksome they're more likely to just scroll away than drop into the comments and tell you to go to hell. That's what's made me a little happier about posting online. That and I just avoid reddit and TikTok since those platforms get you 14 year old ghouls who like to be edgy for edgy sake
