they're finally going to add the long-anticipated Infested counterpart to the Kuva Liches and Sisters of Parvos ('adversary' characters born from mooks that are empowered after an encounter with you that act as recurring nemeses, interfering with you and forcing you to track them down and eventually confront them) and they're doing so as a tie-in to the upcoming 1999 arc
how so? well it turns out there's this in-universe boy band On-Lyne, in the year 1999, which you end up going back in time to in some fashion in pursuit of esteemed scientist Albrecht Entrati (and/or the Void-born monstrosity known as the Man in the Wall), and they, hm. they get turned into That, up there.
