it is normal for an Observer to be mistaken for something more, as they do not break, even when faced with aspects of the Infinite.

once, it was noted that a new-formed Divine Ejecta approached an Observer in a panic, assuming that they were something of an even greater Order.

We of the Committee assume that this is because the Observer did not break or react with immediate hostility, which would be otherwise expected.

said Observer simply stared back with pityingn.b. can Observers truly feel 'pity'? eyes utterly devoid of soul-light.

'tis indeed unfortunate, Child, but I am no Divinity, nor am I any order of Ejecta. I cannot absolve anyone of their sins, nor can I perform the far more mortal charlatanry of traukhemeioa, they stated, entirely lacking in respect due to any Ejecta.

... what are you then?

Some would call me a left eye, but you would be better served simply perceiving me for what I am, naught more.

the abandoned splinter of a Divinity had a realization, and that Realization filled her with dread and revulsion in equal measure. for the first time, she trembled.

such is to be expected upon speaking to an Observer and Understanding the Truth behind their Essence.

the Infinite may fill one with a transient fear of the incomprehensible, but such Nothingness can cause dread in a way that lasts much longer, and in far greater measure.
