commentary on how the moment mask mandates were lifted in the Netherlands, everyone immediately stopped wearing them. like, they weren't being enforced anymore, but it was still recommended that people would wear them, which obviously nobody listened to. i literally heard someone saying this on the bus and it made me so angry. because covid-19 WAS still a thing, just not for the general population, and anyone dealing with chronic illnesses was now at a huge risk when taking public transit.
