Cyberdemon + Dick Jones + Hans Gruber

VS

Death (Gauntlet) + Death (Discworld) + Death (Castlevania)

Points in favor of Team Bigbadguy:

  • Cyberdemons have 4,000 HP and are not affected by splash damage.
  • Hans Gruber has a gun.
  • Dick Jones has... a distinct lack of morals.

Points in favor of Team Death, Death, and More Death:

  • Gauntlet Death can leech health on contact, and must be shot 100 times (or drain 100 health points) before he will disappear.
  • Castlevania Death has (usually) 4,444 HP and is generally seen spawning randomly flying mini scythes around the arena.
  • Discworld Death has a lot of things that are debatably useful in a combat situation.

The Matchup:

  • Cyberdemon's rocket launcher is powerful, but slow. It would take quite a while for him to shoot 100 rockets at Gauntlet Death.
  • However, a rocket deals between 20 and 160 HP of direct damage (20*1d8) and roughly up to 128 HP of splash damage depending on proximity. It may not take long for Cyberdemon to defeat Castlevania Death if he focuses fire.
  • Cyberdemon does not focus all of his attention on one target, however, as his target will change based on the last attacker to put him in his Pain state. Statistically, Gauntlet Death is the most likely to do this, given his rate of attack when within range.
  • Hans Gruber has a gun, whose damage is indeterminate (but, demonstrably, immediately lethal to a human target). He may attach a suppressor, however the utility of this in an open combat arena (against three non-human targets who very much already know he is here) is debatable.
  • Falling damage is lethal to Hans Gruber.
  • Similarly, falling damage is also lethal to Dick Jones, however, he also requires being shot several times to be knocked into a window.
  • Dick Jones probably has a gun. Its properties are similar to those of Hans's, though he does not appear to have a suppressor for it.
  • In Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow, the Handgun that Soma Cruz finds has an ATK rating of +1, being roughly only 1 point of damage stronger than bare hands. Going by research conducted by Nyarly on YouTube, it is possible to defeat Castlevania Death with a handgun, but at only about 14 HP of damage per bullet (for Soma), it will require a lot of ammo on the part of Dick and Hans - and neither of them possess Soma's innate STR rating nor his ability to fire infinitely without reloading.
  • None of the three members of Team Bigbadguy possess a Potion, which would kill Gauntlet Death immediately. However, the most likely reason for Gauntlet Death to be out of the fight is that he has drained 100 HP and is thus satisfied and disappears.
  • Cyberdemon, being a product of Hell based on the technology of the Union Aerospace Corporation (possibly), is not equipped with Directive Four, and therefore, does not have any considerations towards friendly fire against Dick (or Hans). His rockets, if off-target, stand just as much of a chance of splattering his teammates as hitting any of the Deaths.
  • Discworld Death does not even need to participate in the fight. They may sit back on the sidelines and consider it a temporary vacation.
  • IF PEOPLE KNEW WHEN THEY WERE GOING TO DIE, I THINK THEY PROBABLY WOULDN'T LIVE AT ALL.

I weigh this matchup in favor of Team Death, Death, and More Death.
