kind of want to write a... fanfic? i guess? about ADOM (Ancient Domains of Mystery)
It's been a once-a-year-fixation for me for almost a decade now, I genuinely really love it (and all of those tough-as-nails roguelikes from way back when) but it's impossible to share with people because y'know. ascii game from the 90s isn't the easiest sell
so i kind of want to like. both write for the fun of writing and also write to tell the story of a game I love in a way that's genuinely more accessible than the actual game lmao
cohost will probably be the first place to hear about it, so... hoping that sounds interesting to y'all because it sounds like a blast to write when I can get the general idea of the story I want to tell more concrete lmao
