I feel really good about the story I'm submitting to the next Emptied Spaces anthology. It's one of my finest pieces of writing so far, an experiment in changing my writing style for longer form works, and full of feelings about how California has changed since I was a kid.
I really can't wait for y'all to read it! Like ... idk. I'm proud of it.
