I’m not sure I’ll ever do it but if I find the energy to, I have a pitch for how I’d make CallowClan an actual story. There’s a girl every callowyn falls in love with who is tragically taken from the hero for Backstory reasons, but because the lead is from normal Earth, it was just a normal rough fumble. Upon learning this, everyone in the soul GC freaks the fuck out and immediately decides they need to do whatever it takes to help her get the girl. Yuri hijinks ensue

Love the idea of a romance story made chaotic by having a full Disco Elysium of alternate selves in the internal group chat. Having to guess if the brooding dark fantasy antihero is giving legitimate romance advice or just trying to rephrase the whisperings of his demon blade as something coherent so he can feel like he's contributing.

Also I think like. I do really really like the chatlog structure for the conversations in their soul, I think that was really what made the joke Hit, and having it be a VN that alternates between like. Irl conversations and chat logs between the Callowyns is something that compels me a lot

Yeah basically. I’ve wanted to write a fantasy realism story for a long time, since it’s one of my favorite genres of all time. But I never had an idea that really struck me until this one. And I think “HARK! THOU HAST DOUBTS ABOUT THINE OWN TALENTS??” “Yeah dude I went 0-2 at the local again” is the funniest shit ever
