i think u can surround the whole thing with <pre> (for preformstted text) but i may be mistaken on how it works
if that does work youd have to replace the asterisk italics with <i> and </i>
there's some options for this! all use some amount of html/css knowledge however. The pre tag is a good idea, but you also have to undo the special formatting by using styles, so it'd look something like this: <pre style="background-color: inherit; color: inherit; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit;">YOUR TEXT HERE</pre>. That way it resets the formatting to cohost's defaults (but yes, you do still have to replace the asterisks with something else).
