  • Using domain names as identity: smart, with tradeoffs.
  • Website stack: Hugo -> Github -> Cloudflare Pages.
  • Portraying conflicts between powerful entities and worlds where they can plausible exist.
  • Different ways supernatural creatures avoid death.
  • A white paper on the effects of exposure to gods.
  • Appendix for a guide to witches.

  • Consent in high magic settings: probably pretty complicated, actually.

I agree with Amber that the last one sounds really interesting. I'm also fascinated by consent in high magic settings and using domain names as identity (similar to IndieAuth?). The rest sound interesting too, to be honest, those are just the ones that extra-special piqued my interest. I've got your site bookmarked so hopefully if any of them wind up existing I'll see them.

Something like IndieAuth, yep! I was thinking about how Bluesky uses domain names as usernames, and how a ton of people are scrambling to direct people to (and in many cases build) websites. Also issues with the fediverse (the last instance I was on poofed out of existence while I wasn't looking), and microinstances (ie GoToSocial), and walled gardens, and, and, and ...

And also, honestly, about people objecting to using domain names for identity because it Costs Money, and Cohost going under because even 15-20% of MAUs subscribing Isn't Enough, and the expectations people of social media, and how most of the Fediverse runs on unpaid labor.

Consent&Magic is something I absolutely want to finish writing, someday, it's just a complex topic and I want to get it right, y'know? So. No promises.
