Me: Okay, while I will grant that Colleen Hoover’s meteoric rise to the The NY Times Bestseller list is totally a result of TikTok, books like Six of Crows, A Court of Thorns and Roses and The Song of Achilles have been major players in the bookish and fandom ecosystems on Tumblr and YouTube for ages, I think it would be hard to pinpoint if TikTok had any hand in further popularizing titles in online communities more than they already were.
