what i did today:
- i had the urge to watch invader zim
- i looked on the internet for torrents
- i was disappointed by all of them
- i remembered oh right lol i have the complete series on dvd because i'm an autistic transsexual
- i rummaged through my dusty boxes of dvds for the box set
- i popped a disc into my pc and remembered that my video player doesn't have dvd menu support, making them really finnicky to deal with
- i opened it with another video player and remembered "oh yeah dvd menus suck"
- i looked up how to do the stuff below
- i used a dvd remuxing program to just rip the entire video feed from all of them (which took about twenty minutes for each of the six discs)
- i used an mkv editing program to split the video feeds into episodes
- i renamed each file the episode title so i could navigate them easily
- i plopped it onto my external hard drive and admired my handiwork (pictured)
- i realized it had been like five hours
- i no longer have the urge to watch invader zim
- i am tired
