Dragging might not work with touch!

So you have two images and you reveal the second one by dragging a handle or clicking/tapping on the corner button (since it can be hard to tap+hold the right spot on mobile).

In existing media I've mostly seen this used for before/after pictures in marketing, but I think there's more to explore here - for example, you could let the reader compare day/night versions of a scene, or add knifes details to an existing image.

You can also choose the direction for the effect, or stick to a button reveal:

Colors, labels, etc. are customizable so you should be able to do plenty things with this even if you have minimal knowledge of CSS+HTML.

Have fun!

oh, and the arrow handles here change color to white (invisible on white circle :P) when dark mode is enabled -- set the color property manually to make it always the same color (not theme dependent)
to test dark mode, use the three-dot menu at the top of a post and pick 'invert colors' to switch the theme for that post only
