i've mentioned this before, but i'm working on a full-featured retro virtual pet site! you can put them in your forum signatures and ask your friends to click on them to grow big and strong and everything. it's still in development; i was hoping to get a public beta out before the shutdown, but there seems to be eternally one more week of development to do on it.
