love to post about @atomicthumbs's Twitter thread about Mastodon on Mastodon and getting mentions absolutely proving his points about Mastodon being hard to grasp.

Really the "Linux of social media" phrase to describe Mastodon keeps getting truer and truer.

Legit, I have been "educated" by several users via DM on Mastodon for posting something benign that might have offended someone somewhere. Like what I'm eating for lunch.

or how the instance i was on is now gone so all of my art posts and stuff are also gone and the other instance i had an account on is blacklisted everywhere except japan because of content laws
