Playing around with it and I think I'll try having it as my default view for a bit. Liking it so far!!

in reply to @staff's post:

Only real issue I'm encountering is.... I don't think it works well at all on mobile? Ideally I would love to default to Following on desktop and Dashboard on mobile. Hopefully something like that could be added in the future.

Thank you for making cohost!

yeah there’s absolutely room for improvement on mobile. separate toggles for desktop and mobile makes sense but might be weird to implement reliably; we’ll think about it!

 great new ways to chollow!

if this design gets rolled to the ‘followers’ page too, could it perhaps retain the pages' taglines there instead of their cropped chost? i feel that's the forward facing context needed when seeing who you're broadcasting to.

i am seeing "[no text]" sometimes in the left column when it seems that it should be showing a snippet of the latest post (which contains text!)

otherwise, this is a cool feature, glad to see it!

btw, nice little touch you put in there. the clock on my machine is not correct. it's in fact several hours wrong, but i don't want to touch it right now. and i just noticed that quite a few posts on my timeline now say "in XX hours" i'm seeing the future :) lovely touch ^_^

ps: yes, i know it's probably just a side-effect of whatever library is being used to convert time deltas into strings, but i don't care, i find it lovely that the timeline reacts that way to a clearly wrong situation
