i gotta say i kinda feel for Nyck in this a lil. It's gotta be gutting to go from Formula E world champ to "doesn't even finish out a season of F1 because his performance has been sorta garbage"
I can see Lawson taking the AT seat next year if Danny replaces Checo... lots of big ifs there though.
if i had to guess, the idea is to pit Danny against Yuki to see if he's quick enough for the RBR seat in '24, then put Lawson in AT. three Red Bull drivers currently driving for their careers...
i think they're moving to a Haas-style shtick soon where they just buy everything they can from RBR, hopefully that makes the car at least a little less of a shitbox
it's definitely pretty rough, and like i said i'd rather see Liam Lawson in the seat (not biased at all), but that's how it goes with RB i guess
