john riccitiello REALLY is a scourge on our planet fucking hell.
I only ever met john riccitiello once at a unity event. it was Unite Copenhagen in 2019 as I was entering the convention centre, unity had paid for me to be there, which is always neat. You know thoes rotating doors big buildings have, where if you accidentally touch the door the safety system kicks in and the doors stop spinning and then slowly start up again? I was walking though one of them to get into the building. Just as I start going through, I notice riccitiello. He was just walking into a cell of the same door, exiting the building. I saw him and was like ‘is… is that.. john riccitiello? good think I don’t have to talk to him or anything that would suck’
The doors keep rotating and we get to the middle, like, we’re side by side… and someone enters the cell directly behind his, pulling a long one of those wheelie suitcases. I am 99% sure this is johns bag, and he’s just got some guy to carry it for him. The bag IMMEDIATELY hits the back of the door and the whole thing stops spinning. This sucks. john riccitiello is now staring at me. We’re separated by a single plane of glass. heck. The doors slowly begin to move again and I tentatively take one more step towards freedom, and bam the bag hits the door again. riccitiello looks angry. It starts to move again, and things are looking good… for about a half second and then that fucking bag twats the door for a 3rd time…. riccitiello SCOWLS at me and angrily, but slowly says “stop. touching. the. doors. They STOP moving if you touch them”. He’s PISSED. at ME. And the worse thing about this whole situation is that john riccitiello now thinks I don’t know how doors work. Buddy, I know how doors work.
Anyways, somehow it’s legal for that guy to make 21 million a year and have the power to fire like 400 people to try make sure the sock line goes up. I dunno how you can trust a guy like that when he dosnt understand how doors work.
