Rashomon by Suiyoubi no Campanella
J-pop
Lotta folks came into SnC way later, like around the time of Superman and their collab with Chuvurches. I'm always surprised when the people I know who do listen to them haven't gone into their back catalog because their weirdest and most unique stuff is all there. Rashomon and Cinema Jack are both strange and wonderful albums but Rashomon is the roughest KOM_I's vocals ever got because they got a lot more ambitious with their songwriting and as weird as it is to say, I actually like it a whole lot for it. There's so much personality in her really stretching the limits of her ability as a vocalist at the time.
Outside the Box by Skream
Chillstep
One of the most household names in the early UK dubstep scene and author of one of the genre's most formative albums, Outside the Box is an album that's extremely different in vibe and ended up being way ahead of its time. The album is 13 years old now and still sounds like it could have released yesterday.
This is My Shit by 80kidz
Electronica
The song will speak for itself. This was the first album I ever downloaded in FLAC and it's, to this day, still the thing I slam on to test new audio setups. There's maybe never been a truly bad four-to-the-floor beat but combining that with powerful synth leads and just-right-on-the-line distortion is the hallmark sound of the entire album and it will never get old, trust me.
